Today,we went to sightsee the sacred temple and rowed boats. On the way to our destination, I saw the towns and villages of Cambodia and I found the difference of economic level of China and Cambodia is enormously big. Most of them don't own their private cars, instead, they travel by motercycles, including students who are going to school. In my perspective, this is a really dangerous way of traveling because motercycles are always so fast that they are easy to carsh which makes it a inappropriate for students to go to school. The reason of the occurrence of this situation might be related to the poor economic situation of individuals in Cambodia that they are not able to buy their private cars and the poor economic situation of the local government that they are not affordable of building a good traffic for their citizens.

One thing I learnt today is how to ride in the jungle. I'm not a good bike rider even at home, I can't ride so fast on the road. But this time I tried because I think I have to catch the people in front of me. I fell so many times. I kept going so many times. The more I rode, the more tired I got. It's a pity that I didn't keep going because I'm not feeling well. It's a though day. And I want to thank those teachers that stay with me at last and encourage me when I was the last one. I still believe that hard work would pay off. If I got a chance next time, I won't miss it.

One thing that I learned today was that Angkor wat was originally supposed to be a Hindu temple; however, the (Zho?) or Buddhist nation from the north came down and changed the Hindu temple or Angkor wat to Buddhist. For a long time there was a civil war between the Hindus and Buddhist. However today the Hindus Buddhist and animist all worship in Cambodia peacefully. (Even though the majority of Cambodia is Buddhist)

Today I learned about the conflicts between Buddhism and Hinduism in Cambodia. Eventually the Buddhism took hold and now over 90% of all Cambodians are Buddhists. The conflicts could be seen in a lot of the temples,l. Some Hindu statues were intentionally damaged and replaced by Buddhist statues and Hindu statues were damaged by Buddhists. I found it very interesting that conflicts from centuries ago can still be seen today in the artifacts and temples.

Today I rode a bike for nearly 12km around the Angkor Wat. It's addictive for me beacause the temples are amazing. For instance, I saw a lot of builildings made by stone and a beautiful lake next to the hill. Also I learn that everting difficult is meaningful because although riding bike is a tough work to do,I enjoyed myself and had an unforgettable memory. In addition I thought the power of a team is huge because if I don't have our team members, I probably couldnot have the confident to trush myself and finish the journey.

Today I learned that Cambodians living by the water live in the lower points of the canal in the dry season, and in higher points (nearest the temple we visited) during the wet season. Floating houses are an amazing idea and I'd love to see the houses move in the wet season.

First day of Combodia. We visited the temples and had a over view of Cambodian culture. One thing I found interesting about Cambodia is that children don't wear shoes and I could see adults wear their pajamas everywhere around the place. We rode the bike on the mountain and had a lot of fun. Well, it was super hot in Cambodia and so I finally found out that temperature kills men. I fell off the bike once which was on a cliff. I felthurt. But it was a nice day

One thing I have learned today is the living condition of the Cambodians. As soon as we reached the first temple of Angkor Wat, there were kids selling articles. Their age were like elementary school students, but they were selling things instead of going to school. Even a women who was pregnant was trying to sell me a coconut. The adversity of living conditions really impressed me. I never though it could me such worse.
